We also include spare end caps with the service kit to ensure your Plank Grabber is ready for any job whenever you need it.
For a Permanent Fix
Use Injectafix before closing the gap to prevent planks from drifting apart in the future. Injectafix s a flexible adhesive designed to move with the expansion and contraction to the floor.
If Your Floor is Tight Or Several Planks Move Together
Sometimes several planks may be linked, making it hard to close the gap. If you floor is new or tight, apply Click Lube to the grooves of the planks that are in the train and you will find that they will slide together far more easily. This makes moving and sliding the planks effortless and protects Plank Grabber from taking a beating! (It's not designed for a beating!)
Textured Surfaces and LVT
Plank Grabber is designed to grab planks where suction cups fail and this is typically planks with awood grain effect or a slight textured surafce. Plank Grabber will work on these planks including LVT
Limitations
Plank Grabber relies of vacuum to stick to surfaces. Therefore, it will not stick well to raw wood or porous surfaces. Plank Grabber will lose suction if you fail to clean the floor surface befoe use. You MUST clea Plan Grabber with a damp sponge after use or the suction will reduce.
Look after it, follow the instructions and you wqill wonder how you lived without it.
