🏆 Winner — 2025 National Flooring Award, Best Innovation
Got a gap, a lifted plank, or a board that's shifted? Close it in minutes — without lifting your floor.
Plank Grabber grips the plank and lets you pull it back into place by hand, so a gap that's been bugging you for months is gone in a couple of minutes. It works where ordinary suction cups slip — textured, wood-grain and LVT finishes — and it's the same award-winning tool professional fitters use to speed up full installations.
Two jobs, one tool:
-
Fixing an existing floor — close gaps between planks, re-seat a lifted or shifted board, and pull edges tight again. Pair with Injectafix so the gap stays closed for good.
-
Installing a new floor — grip, position and tap planks home with total control; the precision strike points and pull-bar hooks streamline every row.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it damage or scratch my floor?
No — it grips with a soft suction pad and has no sharp edges. Keep the pad clean and it won't mark the surface.
My planks are really tight — will it still move them?
Yes, but if several linked planks are stiff, apply Click Lube to the grooves first so they slide easily — and you protect the tool. (It's a precision tool, not a battering ram!)
Is the gap fix permanent?
On its own it closes the gap; for a permanent fix, run Injectafix into the gap before you close it — it flexes with the floor's natural movement so the gap won't reopen.
Do I need the Mallet or Adhesive packs?
Not essential, but most customers fixing gaps choose the Total Fix Pack (tool + Injectafix + mallet) so they have everything in one go.
What's in the box?
Plank Grabber plus a spare suction pad. Suction pads and end caps are fully serviceable and always in stock.
Built to Last — Premium Anodised Aluminium
Expertly crafted from premium anodised aluminium, Plank Grabber delivers exceptional durability for years of professional use. The suction pad and end caps are fully serviceable, so the tool keeps working job after job.
Replacement parts: Both the suction pad and end caps are available separately on our website. Keep the suction pad clean and dust-free and you'll get a long life from each pad. The end caps are designed to compress under heavy impact to protect the tool — replacements are always in stock.
Pro Tip: Prevent Gaps From Coming BackApply
Injectafix Adhesive into the gap
before closing it with Plank Grabber. Injectafix is a flexible adhesive that moves with the natural expansion and contraction of your floor, keeping planks locked together permanently.
Tight Planks? Use Click LubeIf several planks are linked and hard to slide, apply
Click Lube Floor Lubricant to the grooves of the planks in the train. They'll slide together far more easily — and you'll protect Plank Grabber from unnecessary force. (It's a precision tool, not a battering ram!)
Works Where Suction Cups Fail
Plank Grabber is specifically designed to grip planks with wood-grain effects, textured surfaces, and LVT — exactly the planks that standard suction cups can't hold. Follow the instructions, look after it, and you'll wonder how you ever worked without it.
